RECOMMENDED SERVICES

Brake Fluid Service:

When it comes to maintaining the brake system, you certainly want to avoid costly repairs, but the foremost issue is safety. When you depress the brake pedal in your vehicle, the force from your foot is transferred to the brake through an incompressible fluid. Over time, brake fluid tends to collect moisture, which can corrode inside the brake lines. This moisture can also lower the boiling point of the fluid; if compressible vapors become present within the fluid, there is potential for brake failure. In addition to moisture, the brake fluid gradually collects dirt and other debris that can cause wear on calipers and wheel cylinders and damage the various intricate components of an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).

Why take any chances? As part of our Complete Brake Fluid Service, we will completely flush the old fluid out of the entire brake system, including calipers, master cylinder and wheel cylinders. We then will install new fluid that can extend the life and safety of your system.

Power Steering Service:

The tremendous convenience of having power steering is something we take for granted - until something goes wrong. The system uses hydraulic power, which is provided by a rotary-vane pump, that is in turn powered by the engine. Because the system is exposed to hot temperatures and high-operating pressures, fluid tends to deteriorate over time. In addition to becoming contaminated with varnish deposits and other debris picked up throughout the system, the fluid also can lose its lubricating properties. This results in steering "stiffness," leaks and, potentially, complete system failure.

As part of our Complete Power Steering Service, a trained Technician will thoroughly flush the old power steering fluid, disposing of it in an environmentally safe manner. We then will install new power steering fluid and a special fluid protectant. Following this service, you should receive more responsive performance and increased vehicle control.

Transmission Service:

The transmission is one of the most sophisticated pieces of equipment in your vehicle's powertrain. The transmission valve body controls all hydraulic shifting for your vehicle. The valve body consists of numerous valves, springs, hydraulic passages and electric solenoids. A regular transmission service will usually drain only about half of the old fluid from the valve body. As a result, there are contaminants that will remain inside your transmission once this basic service is complete. These contaminants can potentially cause the intricate components within the transmission to fail, resulting in costly repairs.

Our Complete Transmission Service is a combination of draining and exchanging the fluid. Using state-of-the-art equipment that is operated by an expertly trained technician. This service is designed to promote smoother shifting while protecting the various components within the transmission.

Cooling System Service:

When a motorist becomes stranded at the side of the road, one of the most common reasons is cooling system failure. The purpose of coolant is to enable your engine to operate at a broad range of temperatures. Over extended use, this coolant gradually begins to deteriorate, leaving it unable to protect the cooling system from rust, corrosion and other harmful deposits. Any restriction at all in your cooling system will affect the system's ability to cool your engine. Eventually, the system will fail, leading to engine breakdown. Our trained Technicians will drain the old coolant out of the system and re-fill it with new coolant. The ultimate goal is to prevent overheating, control rust and corrosion, and extend the performance of your vehicle.
